SENATE BILL 55 (1st Reprint): Provides nonjudicial alternative for corporate trustee to buy or sell property, other than real property, from or to itself, affiliate or certain other persons related to trustee or affiliate under certain circumstances. (BDR 13-874)

SENATE BILL 196 (1st Reprint): Enacts Uniform Prudent Investor Act and Uniform Principal and Income Act (1997). (BDR 13-1107)

Mr. Wilkinson, would you explain the amendments by the Assembly to S.B. 436?

 

SENATE BILL 436 (2nd Reprint): Makes various changes to provisions pertaining to business. (BDR 7-982)

 

Mr. Wilkinson:

The amendments were mostly technical. In section 23, page 12, line 41, “or creditors” was deleted.

ASSEMBLY BILL 13 (1st Reprint): Eliminates panel of judges in certain penalty hearings in which death penalty is sought and requires district attorneys to report certain information concerning certain homicides to Supreme Court. (BDR 14-197)

 

Mr. Wilkinson:

Senator Care’s proposed amendment amends section 3 of A.B. 13 (Exhibit A).

 

SENATOR WASHINGTON MOVED TO AMEND WITH SENATOR CARE’S PROPOSED AMENDMENT AND DO PASS A.B. 13.
