2005 Fiscal Report

The 2005 Fiscal Report is based on budgetary and taxation recommendations contained in the Governor's Executive Budget submitted to the Legislature in January 2005.The Governor's recommendations will be considered by the Legislature during the 2005 Legislative Session for the 2005-2007 biennium budget period covering fiscal years 2005-2006 and 2006-2007.

The report contains information on the state's General Fund revenues, which depicts the present and projected condition of the General Fund, Governor's recommended capital and park improvement projects, special and one-shot appropriations, supplemental appropriations, and budgetary summaries of state agencies by various governmental functions.

This report contains general information, including highlights of the various governmental functions.Emphasis is placed on changes and expansion of existing programs and recommended new programs.Therefore, this report should be used in conjunction with the Governor's Executive Budget for the 2005-2007 biennium, where more complete information is provided.
