PART X.  RULES GOVERNING THE COLLECTION OF FEES AND CHARGES

      Rule 1.  Supreme Court Budget.  The Supreme Court has authority to direct the collection of revenue for the proper administration of its own budgets.

      Rule 2.  Administrative Office of the Courts.

      (a) Duties and responsibilities.  The Administrative Office of the Courts collects revenue, including certain charges and fees in accordance with its duties to the Court and as provided in state statute.

      (b) Authority.  The Administrative Office of the Courts, on behalf of the Court, has authority to collect revenue from the following charges and fees:

             (1) Registration fees and vendor fees associated with providing continuing judicial education programs.

             (2) User charges associated with development and implementation of the Uniform System of Judicial Records (USJR).

             (3) Other charges and fees authorized by the Court for the proper administration of the Court in order to carry out its duties and responsibilities.
