ASSEMBLY CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONDirecting the director of the state department of personnel to make a survey of jobs and work loads in the various state offices, departments, commissions, agencies and bureaus for the purpose of determining the possibility of effecting a reduction of force, a savings of money and other economies, and directing a report of such survey to be made to the 47th session of the legislature of the State of Nevada.
Whereas, Chapter 351, Statutes of Nevada 1953, creates a state department of personnel and defines its powers and duties among other things; and
Whereas, One of the stated purposes of that act is to increase the efficiency and economy of the governmental departments and agencies by the improvement of methods of personnel administration; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Assembly of the State of Nevada, the Senate concurring, That the director of the state department of personnel shall make a survey of jobs and work loads in the various state offices, departments, commissions, agencies and bureaus for the purpose of determining the possibility of effecting a reduction of force, a savings of money to the State of Nevada and other possible economies in personnel administration; and be it further
Resolved, That the director of the state department of personnel shall report the results of his survey to the 47th session of the legislature of the State of Nevada.
