Hobbies/Special Interests: Basketball, volunteer activities, music, movies.

Legislative Service: Nevada Assembly, 1995-2003—two special and five regular sessions; Assistant Majority Whip, 2001. Only legislator to serve on five committees during 1995 Session: Co-Vice Chairman, Assembly Committee on Economic Development and Tourism; Member: Assembly Committees on Education, Judiciary, Labor and Management, and Taxation. Vice Chairman, Assembly Committee on Health and Human Services, 1997.
