AN ACT making an appropriation to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for allocation to the Women’s Research Institute of Nevada for support of the National Education for Women’s Leadership Program; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for allocation to the

1-3  Women’s Research Institute of Nevada for support of the National

1-4  Education for Women’s Leadership Program:

1-5  For Fiscal Year 2003-2004......... $35,000

1-6  For Fiscal Year 2004-2005......... $40,000

1-7  Sec. 2.  Any balance of the sums appropriated by section 1 of

1-8  this act remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not

1-9  be committed for expenditure after June 30 of the respective fiscal

1-10  years and reverts to the State General Fund as soon as all payments

1-11  of money committed have been made.


2-1  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
