AN ACT making an appropriation to Classroom on Wheels for the purchase of two buses to provide mobile school services for homeless children in Clark County; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to Classroom on Wheels the sum of $100,000 for the purchase

1-3  of two buses to provide mobile school services for homeless

1-4  children in Clark County.

1-5  Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-6  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after

1-7  June 30, 2005, and reverts to the State General Fund as soon as all

1-8  payments of money committed have been made.

1-9  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
