Assembly Bill No. 255–Committee on Ways and Means

AN ACT relating to the Department of Human Resources; extending the reversion date of the appropriation made during previous Legislative Session to the Department of Human Resources for the Medicaid Management Information System; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 441, Statutes of Nevada 2001,

at page 2157, is hereby amended to read as follows:

    Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation

made by section 1 of this act must not be committed for

expenditure after June 30, [2003,] 2005, and reverts to the

state general fund as soon as all payments of money

committed have been made.

    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
