Prayer by the Chaplain, Reverend Robert Burns.

Almighty God, we seek Your blessings on this session of the Nevada Assembly. Grant these men and women wisdom and insight as they go about their business on behalf of the citizens of Nevada. Lord, I pray, give them a keen sense of the right and good and just and fair in everything they do. We pray also, Lord God, for all of the leaders of this country, and the leaders of all the countries of the world, as we fervently seek peace and security for all of Your people. We pray for all those who keep the watch today across the world. Be with our men and women, soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who give so fully of themselves to bring security to our world. Especially, we ask Your blessing on over 250 Nevada young people deployed with the Military Reserve and National Guard. Grant us Your richest blessings this day. In Your Holy Name we pray.

Amen.
