    Assembly Bill No. 55—AN ACT relating to criminal procedure; providing that a local law enforcement agency may cause a biological specimen to be submitted to the Combined DNA Indexing System if a person who is being investigated submits the specimen voluntarily or pursuant to a court order; expanding the crimes for which a defendant is required to submit a biological specimen when he is found guilty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assembly Bill No. 61—AN ACT relating to criminal procedure; providing that evidence that is derived from the testimony or evidence of a witness who is granted immunity may be introduced in another proceeding if the evidence is obtained from an independent source; clarifying the duties of a witness to whom immunity is granted; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assembly Bill No. 63—AN ACT relating to evidence; creating an exception to the hearsay rule for certain testimony offered at preliminary examinations by permitting a qualified law enforcement officer to testify to the statements of other law enforcement officers; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assembly Bill No. 65—AN ACT relating to state employees; authorizing collective bargaining for certain state employees; creating a Board for Labor Relations for State Employees; providing for bargaining units and for their representatives; establishing procedures for collective bargaining and for making, revising and amending collective bargaining agreements; prohibiting certain unfair labor practices; authorizing the Superintendent of the State Printing Division of the Department of Administration to make certain labor agreements; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assembly Bill No. 67—AN ACT relating to the Charter of the City of Henderson; revising the Charter to authorize the City Council of the City of Henderson to determine by ordinance which positions of city employment are included within the system of civil service of the City of Henderson; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assembly Bill No. 69—AN ACT relating to the State Public Works Board; expanding the exemption from the requirement that the State Public Works Board furnish engineering and architectural services for buildings constructed on state property or with legislative appropriation to certain improvements made by the Division of Wildlife of the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assembly Bill No. 70—AN ACT relating to providers of health services; limiting certain fees which providers of health services that accept insurance payments may collect from patients; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    By the Committee on Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Mining:

    Assembly Bill No. 71—AN ACT relating to the Division of Wildlife of the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; authorizing the Division to charge a fee for advertising in printed materials prepared by the Division and for advertising on a website on the Internet that is maintained by the Division; exempting the Division from the requirement of having certain printed matter prepared by the State Printing Division of the Department of Administration; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assemblyman Collins moved that the bill be referred to the Committee on Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Mining.

    Assembly Bill No. 72—AN ACT relating to wildlife; converting the Division of Wildlife of the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources into the Department of Wildlife; requiring approval of the proposed budget of the Department by the Board of Wildlife Commissioners; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

    Assemblyman Collins moved that the bill be referred to the Committee on Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Mining.
