Assembly Bill No. 176—AN ACT relating to public works; requiring the Labor Commissioner to survey certain additional employers to establish the prevailing rates of wages; providing that certain workmen are deemed to be employed on public works; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Assembly Bill No. 177—AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; revising provisions relating to the issuance to certain disabled persons of special license plates, placards and stickers; revising the period within which the holder of a valid registration must notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of a change of name or residence address; revising provisions relating to the issuance of duplicate number plates and substitute number plates; revising provisions relating to submission to the Department, at the time of registering a vehicle, of evidence of automobile liability insurance; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Assembly Bill No. 178—AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; requiring the Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure that certain documents submitted to, issued by or retained by the Department contain the full legal name of the relevant person; providing that the document setting forth indicia of the ownership of a motor vehicle shall be known as a “certificate of title”; making various other changes relating to the operations of the Department; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
