The Honorable William Raggio, Senate Majority Leader, State of Nevada Senate,

Legislative Building, 401 South Carson Street, Carson City, Nevada 89701-4747

Dear Senator Raggio:

On behalf of American Legion Capitol Post #4 and the Department of Nevada, I am pleased to let you know that National Commander Ray Smith will be in Carson City on Tuesday, April 3, 2001.

In past sessions, under the management of Archie Pozzi, Jr., it has been a tradition for the Department Commander to make a presentation to the Legislature. This year, we would like to seek your support for an address by the National Commander before a joint session at 5:00 p.m. on April 3, 2001.

Due to our need to coordinate his busy travel schedule, your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. If I can be of any assistance in facilitating this matter, please don’t hesitate to call me.

        Sincerely,

                                    Tim Tetz, Commander
