AN ACT relating to state financial transactions; authorizing the state controller to provide by regulation for the use of electronic signatures in financial transactions pertaining to the state; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 Chapter 227 of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section to read as follows:
The state controller may provide by regulation for the use of electronic signatures in financial transactions pertaining to this state, and for the form and the method or methods of verification of such signatures.
