AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Department of Human Resources for the additional costs of the care of patients in the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services Program; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to the Department of Human Resources the sum of $248,540 for the additional costs of the care of patients in the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services Program. This appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 20 of chapter 446, Statutes of Nevada 1995, at page 1389.
Sec. 2 Any remaining balance of the supplemental appropriation made by section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 1997, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money committed have been made.
Sec. 3 This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
