THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 Chapter 616D of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section to read as follows:
1. An appeals officer, in conducting hearings or other proceedings pursuant to the provisions of chapters 616A to 616D, inclusive, of NRS or regulations adopted pursuant to those chapters, may order a party, or the attorney or representative of a party, to pay costs that are incurred by the hearings division of the department of administration, including, but not limited to, the cost of a court reporter or an interpreter.
