AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Division of Child and Family Services of the Department of Human Resources to offset certain unanticipated expenses at the Caliente Youth Center; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to the Division of Child and Family Services of the Department of Human Resources the sum of $52,006 to offset an unanticipated shortfall in salaries at the Caliente Youth Center for fiscal year 1996-97. This appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 20 of chapter 446, Statutes of Nevada 1995, at page 1388.
Sec. 2 This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
