AN ACT relating to state emblems; designating the "Silver State Fanfare" as the official state march of the State of Nevada; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Whereas, This legislature was extremely proud when the Procter R. Hug High School Marching Band and Dance Team performed "Silver State Fanfare" in President Clinton's second inaugural parade while representing the State of Nevada; now, therefore,

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 Chapter 235 of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section to read as follows:
The march entitled "Silver State Fanfare," composed by Gerald Willis, is hereby adopted and declared to be the official state march of the State of Nevada.
