AB4 AN ACT relating to primary elections; requiring the county or city clerk to include in each sample ballot a list of the names of the candidates for which there is no opposition; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB5 AN ACT relating to campaign practices; requiring certain persons who conduct a persuasive poll by telephone or other electronic means to disclose the name of the person or organization that requested or paid for the poll; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB11 AN ACT relating to medical facilities; requiring certain facilities that provide care for elderly persons to file with the aging services division of the department of human resources a surety bond to provide indemnification to certain elderly patients; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB15 AN ACT relating to traffic laws; exempting certain persons who operate bicycles while on duty from complying with the provisions relating to the operation of bicycles under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB26 AN ACT relating to health care; prohibiting any insurer that is required to provide coverage for an annual cytologic screening test and mammogram for certain women from requiring an insured to obtain prior authorization for such services; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB29 AN ACT relating to health care; establishing a procedure that authorizes a qualified patient to direct that he not be resuscitated in the event of a cardiac or respiratory arrest; prohibiting certain acts that may interfere with the carrying out of such a direction; providing immunity for certain persons who comply with the procedure for not resuscitating a qualified patient who has chosen not to be resuscitated; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB32 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; providing for the issuance of special license plates indicating affiliation with the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Nevada; providing a fee for the issuance or renewal of such license plates; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB39 AN ACT relating to juvenile courts; requiring a court to order a child or the parent or guardian of the child to make restitution for property damaged by the child; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB47 AN ACT relating to wildlife; reducing the fee for a resident mountain lion tag; authorizing the board of wildlife commissioners to retain for administrative costs a certain percentage of the money received from an additional drawing for big game tags; authorizing the board of wildlife commissioners to adopt regulations which authorize the refund of fees paid for certain hunting tags; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB74 AN ACT relating to local governments; authorizing the board of county commissioners of a county or the governing body of a city to convey certain property to nonprofit organizations for the development of affordable housing; providing for the reversion of that property under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB78 AN ACT relating to juries; expanding the amount of money that a juror may donate to an agency that provides protective services for children; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB80 AN ACT relating to criminal proceedings; authorizing a magistrate to order a party who requests the continuance of a preliminary examination to pay fees and costs for witnesses under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB82 AN ACT relating to the state executive department; authorizing the state treasurer to appoint and employ certain deputies and assistants; authorizing the attorney general to appoint and employ an administrative assistant; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB95 AN ACT relating to criminal procedure; revising the provisions governing attendants who provide support for certain witnesses; allowing an attendant to sit next to a witness while the witness is testifying; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB96 AN ACT relating to traffic laws; requiring an offender convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance for the first time to be placed in a program of treatment for alcoholism or drug abuse under certain circumstances; requiring certain programs of treatment for alcoholism or drug abuse to be certified by the bureau of alcohol and drug abuse of the rehabilitation division of the department of employment, training and rehabilitation; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB99 AN ACT relating to legislation; authorizing a board of trustees of a school district to request the preparation of a certain number of legislative measures; authorizing boards of county commissioners of certain counties to request the preparation of an additional number of legislative measures; limiting the authority to prefile a bill or joint resolution to legislators; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB100 AN ACT relating to elections; reducing the period for filing a declaration or acceptance of candidacy for certain candidates for public office; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB122 AN ACT relating to administrative procedure; requiring an agency periodically to review its regulations and report the results to the legislature; requiring an agency to conduct a workshop before holding a public hearing on a proposed regulation; directing the attorney general to develop guidelines for drafting regulations; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB123 AN ACT relating to the legislative counsel bureau; requiring the legislative counsel to prepare and publish a register of certain information related to administrative regulations; requiring the legislative counsel to make available on the Internet the information contained in the register; requiring the legislative counsel to include in the Nevada Administrative Code a citation of authority for each section contained therein; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB124 AN ACT relating to the coordination of governmental functions; providing that the statutory requirements for open meetings apply to the annual meeting of state and local governmental agencies which coordinate their collection of certain fees, taxes or information; requiring the executive director of the department of taxation to submit a report; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB130 AN ACT relating to vehicles; requiring a vehicle dealer to designate a location in each county in which he conducts business as his principal place of business for that county; requiring a vehicle dealer who changes the name or location of his business to submit to the department of motor vehicles and public safety certain documentation; revising the provisions governing the maintenance and inspection of the business records of vehicle dealers and brokers; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB133 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; making various changes to the provisions governing the licensing and registration of motor vehicles; imposing a fee; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB134 AN ACT relating to the department of motor vehicles and public safety; authorizing the department in certain circumstances to request an authorization for the disclosure of certain financial information from applicants for and holders of certain occupational licenses; authorizing the department to suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew such a license if such an authorization is not provided; limiting the use and disclosure by the department of the information obtained from such an authorization; revising the expiration dates for certain occupational licenses issued by the department; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB136 AN ACT relating to claims for medical malpractice; requiring the commissioner of insurance to collect, maintain and report to the legislature certain information regarding closed claims for medical malpractice; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB147 AN ACT relating to medical care; limiting the circumstances under which certain persons may communicate with the physician or chiropractor of an injured employee; requiring the administrator of the division of industrial relations of the department of business and industry to encourage employers to hire persons trained to render emergency medical care involving the use of an automatic external defibrillator; providing that certain persons who are trained to provide such care and their employers are not liable for civil damages resulting from the provision of that care under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB155 AN ACT relating to personal care facilities; requiring the central repository for Nevada records of criminal history to check the criminal history of each applicant for a license to operate a facility for intermediate care, facility for skilled nursing or residential facility for groups and of each employee of each such facility and employee of each agency to provide nursing in the home; authorizing the health division of the department of human resources to deny or revoke a license if an applicant for a license to operate any such facility or his employee has been convicted of a certain crime; requiring the administrator of each such facility to terminate the employment of an employee who is convicted of a certain crime; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB156 AN ACT relating to health care; requiring certain entities that provide health care services through managed care to follow certain procedures before denying health care services to an insured; prohibiting such entities from engaging in certain practices that restrict the actions of a provider of health care; requiring such entities to provide coverage for medically necessary emergency services without requiring an insured to obtain any prior authorization for such services; requiring such entities to file a report containing certain information with the commissioner of insurance; requiring all insurers of health care and managed care organizations to establish a system for resolving complaints of insureds; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB159 AN ACT relating to extradition; providing for the payment of the expense of returning a prisoner to another state under certain circumstances; requiring the transmittal of a waiver of extradition to the attorney general instead of the governor; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB164 AN ACT relating to crimes; providing an additional penalty for assault with a deadly weapon motivated by certain characteristics of the victim; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB170 AN ACT relating to domestic violence; creating the repository for information concerning orders for protection against domestic violence within the central repository for Nevada records of criminal history; requiring certain persons to transmit certain information regarding orders for protection against domestic violence to the central repository for Nevada records of criminal history; authorizing a justice of the peace and a municipal court judge to suspend the sentence of a person convicted of a misdemeanor that constitutes domestic violence for not more than 3 years under certain circumstances; making various changes concerning the penalties imposed for committing a battery that constitutes domestic violence; requiring a court to register certain orders for protection against domestic violence issued by a court located outside this state; creating the office of ombudsman for victims of domestic violence; creating an account for programs related to domestic violence; requiring the appointment of a committee on domestic violence; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB178 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; requiring a used vehicle dealer to conduct certain inspections on certain vehicles that he sells to a retail customer; requiring a used vehicle dealer to offer to sell certain warranties for certain used vehicles that he sells to retail customers or to disclose certain defects in those vehicles; authorizing a retail customer of a used vehicle to file a complaint with the department of motor vehicles and public safety regarding a violation of those provisions; providing penalties; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB184 AN ACT relating to public employees; authorizing the establishment of a program for payment of the normal salary of a police officer or fireman in lieu of compensation for industrial injury or occupational disease in certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB189 AN ACT relating to community service by county inmates; requiring certain boards of county commissioners to conduct a study regarding the feasibility of establishing a program to require the inmates of its county jail to perform community service; providing an exception; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB193 AN ACT relating to courts; clarifying the type of cases for which a fee must be paid to the clerk of the supreme court; increasing certain fees that the clerk of the supreme court may collect; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB198 AN ACT relating to the financing of school construction; increasing the limitation on the population of school districts authorized to request the imposition of a tax on residential construction to construct, remodel and make additions to school buildings; increasing the maximum amount of such tax that may be imposed; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB240 AN ACT relating to crimes; prohibiting the release of a person on parole or probation if he was convicted of committing a certain offense related to defrauding a person who is 65 years of age or older until the convicted person has paid a certain amount of restitution to the victim of the offense; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB241 AN ACT relating to traffic laws; making the prior conviction of a person for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance in any jurisdiction a factor in determining eligibility for participation in certain programs for the treatment of alcoholism and drug abuse; prohibiting certain persons from applying to the court to undergo such programs of treatment; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB242 AN ACT relating to crimes; making it a crime to intentionally isolate an older person; making it a crime to conspire to commit abuse, exploitation or isolation of an older person; requiring a law enforcement agency to promptly seek to obtain a warrant for the arrest of a person who is criminally responsible for a crime against an older person; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB243 AN ACT relating to transportation; revising the provisions governing the operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or a controlled substance; revising the provisions governing the operation of a vessel while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or a controlled substance; imposing a fee for chemical testing upon a person convicted of operating a vessel while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or a controlled substance; increasing the penalty in certain circumstances for a person convicted of operating a vessel while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or a controlled substance; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB297 AN ACT relating to manufactured housing; imposing liability on certain unlicensed persons who cause damage to mobile homes, manufactured homes and commercial coaches; placing conditions on the withdrawal of money from a dealer’s trust account; clarifying that a contractor’s license does not authorize a contractor to construct or repair such manufactured housing; providing that the construction or repair of manufactured housing by a contractor is a ground for disciplinary action under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB300 AN ACT relating to real estate licenses; authorizing the issuance of real estate broker’s, broker-salesman’s and salesman’s licenses to limited-liability companies and their agents; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB309 AN ACT relating to the practice of chiropractic; changing the name of the Nevada state board of chiropractic examiners; revising the definition of "unprofessional conduct"; revising the provisions governing the examination and licensure of applicants desiring to practice chiropractic; revising the requirements for the continuing education of licensees; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB315 AN ACT relating to probation; requiring that a probationer who is not eligible for an honorable discharge from probation receive a dishonorable discharge under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB318 AN ACT relating to traffic laws; authorizing the department of transportation to issue a permit for the movement of a manufactured home or mobile home or similar type of vehicle or structure of a certain width upon a showing of good cause; authorizing the department of transportation to adopt regulations establishing standards for the movement of such vehicles or structures; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB324 AN ACT relating to governmental financial administration; removing the provisions that require tort claims against this state or any of its agencies or political subdivisions to be filed within a certain period with the ex officio clerk of the state board of examiners; requiring those claims to be filed within a certain period with the attorney general; requiring the attorney general to approve, settle or deny the claims under certain circumstances; requiring the attorney general to investigate certain claims and submit a report of findings to the state board of examiners concerning those claims; removing the provisions that limit the amount of money that may be approved for payment by the state board of examiners or a political subdivision for certain claims or actions; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB327 AN ACT relating to noxious weeds; revising provisions relating to the control of noxious weeds; authorizing the board of trustees of a general improvement district to provide for the control of noxious weeds; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB328 AN ACT relating to the state board of professional engineers and land surveyors; requiring certain governmental entities to notify the board concerning registered professional engineers and land surveyors who submit certain incomplete or rejected plans; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB330 AN ACT relating to local governments and the division of land; revising various provisions relating to maps of subdivisions of land; authorizing professional land surveyors to request the correction or amendment of certain maps; revising the procedures governing the review of an application for the granting of a variance, special use permit or special exception in certain circumstances; allowing a local government to authorize a planning commission or certain persons to make decisions relating to certain matters of planning and zoning; providing a procedure for an appeal of such decisions; revising the provisions governing the acquisition, vacation or abandonment of certain real property by a local government; requiring that certain signs remain erected until the final disposition of certain applications; expanding the duties of a hearing examiner; revising the requirements relating to final maps and maps of reversion; revising the period during which certain decisions regarding a parcel map may be appealed; authorizing approval of the vacation or abandonment of a street or easement in conjunction with approval of a tentative map; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB336 AN ACT relating to crimes against decency; defining the term "motion picture" for the purpose of prohibiting certain activities concerning the exhibition, sale or rental of certain motion pictures containing obscene material to a minor; providing a penalty; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB342 AN ACT relating to electronic supervision; providing a penalty for certain violations of conditions of electronic supervision; clarifying the penalty for certain felons who are on residential confinement and are absent without authorization; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB343 AN ACT relating to the supreme court of the State of Nevada; increasing the number of justices; providing for the election of the additional justices; authorizing the use of panels; providing for the abolishment of the positions of the additional justices in certain circumstances; making an appropriation; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB348 AN ACT relating to domestic violence; prohibiting certain insurers from denying a claim, refusing to issue a policy or canceling a policy solely because the claim involves domestic violence or because the insured or applicant was the victim of domestic violence; requiring the division of child and family services of the department of human resources to establish a task force concerning the elimination of the impact of domestic violence on children; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB349 AN ACT relating to cities; authorizing a special election to fill vacancies on the governing body of a city; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB350 AN ACT relating to the Elko Convention and Visitors Authority; imposing a limitation upon the maximum indebtedness of the Authority; making certain provisions of NRS applicable to the procedure for bonding pursuant to this act; authorizing the Authority to issue and sell additional bonds in accordance with certain provisions of NRS; providing that bonds may not be issued for the purpose of managing, operating, advertising, publicizing or promoting the facilities of the Authority; repealing certain obsolete provisions; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB355 AN ACT relating to environmental regulation; authorizing certain persons who own or operate certain facilities to make voluntary examinations and disclosures regarding certain environmental requirements; providing for a mitigation of criminal penalties and a presumption against administrative or civil liability if such an examination and disclosure is made; providing a limited evidentiary privilege for an environmental audit under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AB360 AN ACT relating to financial institutions; revising certain provisions relating to the organization of banking corporations and companies and thrift companies; authorizing an existing corporation or company to organize as a banking corporation or company by amending its articles of incorporation or organization; authorizing a banking corporation to increase or reduce its authorized stock without the approval of its stockholders under certain circumstances; authorizing banks to liquidate their affairs voluntarily without the approval of the commissioner of financial institutions under certain circumstances; providing for the appointment of a successor trustee for a liquidated bank without the entry of an order by the district court under certain circumstances; prohibiting certain thrift companies from becoming authorized to engage in business in this state by obtaining a contract for the issuance of deposits issued by a private insurer; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

SB497 AN ACT relating to governmental entities; creating the advisory council for prosecuting attorneys and prescribing its powers and duties; authorizing the planning commission of a city, county or region to include in its master plan a provision concerning the acquisition and use of certain land under federal management; requiring the state land use planning agency to cooperate with appropriate federal agencies in developing certain plans or statements of policy; and to prepare and submit a written report to the legislature; repealing the provision that requires the approval of the governor before certain plans or statements of policy of the state land use planning agency are put into effect; providing for the establishment of a program under the administration of the state librarian to provide grants of money to public libraries; requiring the department of human resources to conduct a study of the effectiveness of a system for semiautomated screening of certain medical tests; making various appropriations; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
