The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman 
Sue Lowden, at  12:44 p.m., on Sunday, July 2, 1995, on the Senate 
floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was 
no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator Lowden started discussion of Amendment No. 1559 to Senate 
Bill (S.B.)  320 which would resolve conflicts.  General discussion 
followed.

SENATE BILL 320:	Increases statutory limit on total rate of 
taxes ad valorem to be exceeded under certain 
circumstances.

SENATOR REGAN MOVED TO AMEND S.B. 320 WITH AMENDMENT NO. 1559.

SENATOR O'CONNELL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
