The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Sue Lowden, 
at 11:47 a.m., on Monday, June 26, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative 
Building, Carson City, Nevada.   There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance 
Roster.

SENATE BILL (S.B.) 572:	Clarifies provisions concerning 
payment of insurance premium 
tax for 1995 calendar year.

Senator Lowden explained S.B. 572 is a "trailer bill" which clarifies certain 
provisions and authorizes any insurance premium prepayments already made to be 
returned by the Department of Taxation. 

            SENATOR O'CONNELL MOVED TO DO PASS S.B. 572
            AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
         

            SENATOR ADLER SECONDED THE MOTION.

            THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
