The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Sue Lowden, 
at 9:15 a.m., on Saturday, June 17, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative 
Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance 
Roster.

Chairman Lowden called the meeting to order on the Senate floor to discuss 
Amendment No. 1051 and Amendment No. 1084 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 271.

SENATE BILL 271: 	Repeals temporarily requirement for prepayment of 
insurance premium tax.  

SENATOR TOWNSEND MOVED TO RESCIND THE COMMITTEE'S ACTION 
ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 1051 TO S.B. 271.

SENATOR REGAN SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

SENATOR ADLER MOVED TO ADOPT AMENDMENT NO. 1084 TO S.B. 
271.  


SENATOR O'CONNELL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

There being no further matters before the committee, Chairman Lowden adjourned 
the meeting at 9:25 a.m.
