MINUTES OF THE 
	SENATE COMMITTEE ON TAXATION

The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Sue Lowden, at 
11:50 a.m., on Friday, June 16, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, 
Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT:

STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:

Senator Lowden informed the committee members the action taken by the committee 
on May 26, 1995, regarding Senate Bill (S.B.) 271 must be rescinded due to an error 
in the act's expiration date.  Ms. Lowden asked the committee to review proposed 
Amendment Number 1051.

SENATE BILL 271:		Repeals temporarily requirement for prepayment of insurance 
premium tax.

SENATOR ADLER MOVED TO RESCIND THE VOTE TAKEN BY THE 
COMMITTEE ON MAY 26, 1995, REGARDING S.B. 271.

SENATOR TOWNSEND SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
