MINUTES OF THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON TAXATION Sixty-eighth Session February 24, 1995 The Senate Committee on Taxation was called to order by Chairman Sue Lowden, at 11:25 a.m., on Friday, February 24, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no meeting agenda. There was no attendance roster. COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Senator Sue Lowden, Chairman Senator Kathy M. Augustine, Vice Chairman Senator Ann O'Connell Senator Dean A. Rhoads Senator Randolph J. Townsend Senator John B. (Jack) Regan Senator Ernest E. Adler STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Lisa Clearwater, Committee Secretary Chairman Lowden called the meeting to order on the Senate floor to discuss Assembly amendment No. 29 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 122. SENATE BILL 122: Delays first prepayment of insurance premium tax and requires one quarterly payment. Senator O'Connell inquired whether the committee will request another bill that will ask for the repeal of the prepayment. Senator Lowden confirmed this was correct. SENATOR ADLER MOVED FOR THE COMMITTEE TO CONCUR WITH ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT N0. 29 to S.B. 122. SENATOR RHOADS SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
