O'Donnell, at 10:40 p.m., on Saturday, July 1, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster. Lee STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Diane Rea, Committee Secretary OTHERS PRESENT: Daryl Capurro, Lobbyist, Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association (NFADA) Donna Wadey-Howell, Acting Chief, Registration Division, Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety (DMV&PS) Raymond Sparks, Deputy Director, Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety (DMV&PS) Senator O'Donnell opened the hearing on Senate Bill (S.B.) 442. SENATE BILL 442: Conforms state regulation of motor carriers to new federal law. (BDR 58- 1946) Senator O'Donnell explained that this amendment replaces the wording "common carrier" with "fully-regulated carrier," and will clear up the conflict with S.B. 443. SENATE BILL 443: Regulates operation of tow cars. (BDR 58-1792) Daryl Capurro, Lobbyist, Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association, stated he is in support of this amendment. Donna Wadey-Howell, Acting Chief, Registration Division, Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety (DMV&PS) and Raymond Sparks, Deputy Director, Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety (DMV&PS), were also in support of the bill. SENATOR NEAL MOVED TO CONCUR WITH THE AMENDMENT TO S.B. 442. SENATOR JACOBSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED.
