Neal, Jr. STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Diane Rea, Committee Secretary OTHERS PRESENT: Daryl Capurro, Lobbyist, Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association (NFADA) Senator O'Donnell opened the hearing on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 447. ASSEMBLY BILL 447: Makes various changes to provisions governing sale of motor vehicles. (BDR 43-16) Senator O'Donnell explained that this amendment will clear up the conflict with A.B. 352 . This concerns the privilege tax on special dealer plates. ASSEMBLY BILL 352: Authorizes establishment of program for issuance of certification of registration for new vehicles sold by new vehicle dealer. (BDR 43-1147) Daryl Capurro, Lobbyist, Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association, stated he is in support of this amendment. It will create a good balance. SENATOR PORTER MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS A.B. 447 WITH AMENDMENT NO. 1549. SENATOR SHAFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED.
