Lee STAFF MEMBER PRESENT: Joan Thran, Committee Secretary Chairman Rhoads explained to the committee Amendment No. 1373 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 96 resolves a conflict with Assembly Bill (A.B.) 435 and makes substantive changes. Discussion followed. SENATE BILL 96: Enacts provisions governing acquisition of water rights on public lands for purposes of watering livestock. ASSEMBLY BILL 435: Revises provisions governing forfeiture of certain water rights. SENATOR REGAN MOVED TO CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 1373 TO S.B. 96. SENATOR JAMES SECONDED THE MOTION.
