James, at 12:22 p.m., on Saturday, July 1, 1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster. Adler (excused) STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Maddie Fischer, Committee Secretary Chairman James called the meeting to order at the back bar of the Senate floor gallery to discuss the Assembly amendments to Senate Bill (S.B.) 395. SENATE BILL 395 Regulates recovery for defects in residential construction. (BDR 3-1589) Senator James explained the amendments are largely technical, and added that Ivan R. Ashleman, a lobbyist for the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, has informed him that these amendments are agreed to by all parties which previously testified before the committee on this measure. SENATOR WASHINGTON MOVED TO CONCUR IN ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT NO. 1331 TO S.B. 395. SENATOR PORTER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATORS MCGINNESS AND ADLER WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
