Lee (Excused) STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Maddie Fischer, Committee Secretary Chairman James called the meeting to order at his desk on the Senate floor to discuss committee authorization of a bill draft request. Lorne Malkiewich, Director, Legislative Counsel Bureau, requested legislation to provide for two additional commissioners to represent Nevada on the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. SENATOR MCGINNESS MOVED FOR AUTHORIZATION OF A COMMITTEE BILL DRAFT REQUEST. SENATOR TITUS SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATOR LEE WAS ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
