Shaffer STAFF MEMBER PRESENT: Joan Thran, Committee Secretary OTHERS PRESENT: Sam McMullen, Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority Senator O'Connell started discussion on Amendment No. 1477 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 569. SENATE BILL 569: Makes various changes relating to tax on transient lodging and county fair and recreation boards. Senator O'Connell asked Sam McMullen, representing the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority, to discuss changes to S.B. 569. Mr. McMullen stated there was no opposition to having members' list provided in an open meeting for bids on related projects. Mr. McMullen remarked at the time and place fixed in the resolution for the meeting of the county fair and recreation board, all sealed proposals received must, in public session, be opened, examined and declared by the board.
