The Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor was called to order by 
Chairman Randolph J. Townsend, at 6:15 p.m., on Sunday, July 1, 
1995, on the Senate floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, 
Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator Townsend started discussion of Amendment No. 1333 to 
Assembly  Bill (A.B.) 462 which replaces Amendment No. 1270.  
General discussion followed.
 
ASSEMBLY  BILL 462:	Requires garages that repair motor vehicles to 
register with 
department of 
motor vehicles 
and public 
safety and 
creates motor 
vehicle repair 
advisory board.
	

SENATOR SHAFFER MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS A.B. 462 WITH 
AMENDMENT NO. 1333.

SENATE REGAN SECONDED THE MOTION.

Senator Townsend began discussion on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 331 which 
makes changes in the insurance fraud unit established in the office 
of the attorney general which investigates and prosecutes insurance 
fraud.

ASSEMBLY BILL 331:	Makes various changes relating to investigation 
of insurance fraud.

SENATOR REGAN MOVED TO DO PASS A.B. 331.

SENATOR O'CONNELL SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
