MINUTES OF THE ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON TAXATION Sixty-eighth Session June 30, 1995 The Committee on Taxation was called to order at 1:15 p.m., on Friday, June 30, 1995, Chairman Stroth presiding in Assembly Chambers of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. Spitler Chairman Jeannine Stroth called the meeting to order in Floor Session with the following action taken: ASSEMBLY BILL NUMBER 377: Exempts certain charitable organizations from responsibility of paying business tax on behalf of certain persons who participate in trade show or convention. Chairman Stroth explained this meeting was called to consider action on a Conference Committee on subject bill. The motion was as follows: MOTION MADE BY MR. MARVEL, SECONDED BY MR. SANDOVAL TO CONCUR WITH THE CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. SENATE BILL NUMBER 338: Expands authorized uses of proceeds from supplemental vehicle privilege tax. This meeting was called to consider Conference Report on subject bill with action as follows: MOTION MADE BY MR. PRICE FOR "DO RECEDE". SECONDED BY MR. MARVEL AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
