MINUTES OF THE ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON NATURAL RESOURCES, AGRICULTURE AND MINING Sixty-eighth Session June 12, 1995 The Committee on Natural Resources, Agriculture and Mining was called to order at 12:05 p.m., on Wednesday, June 12, 1995, Chairman John C. Carpenter presiding in Assembly Chambers of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. John C. Carpenter, Chairman Mrs. Marcia de Braga, Chairman Mr. Max Bennett, Vice Chairman Mrs. Genie Ohrenschall, Vice Chairman Mr. Douglas A. Bache Mr. Thomas A. Fettic Mr. David E. Humke Mr. P.M. Roy Neighbors Mr. Brian Sandoval Mrs. Gene Wines Segerblom Chairman Carpenter met behind the bar in the Assembly Chambers with members of the committee to approve BDR No 49-1573 which creates garlic and onion grower's advisory board. ASSEMBLYMAN OHRENSCHALL MOVED TO APPROVE BDR NO 49-1573. ASSEMBLYMAN SANDOVAL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED BY ALL THOSE PRESENT. The committee also discussed the amendment to S.B. 230 in which the Senate asked the committee to recede from Amendment 479. ASSEMBLYMAN HUMKE MOVED NOT TO RECEDE FROM AMENDMENT 479. ASSEMBLYMAN BENNETT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED BY ALL THOSE PRESENT. Mrs. de Braga, Mr. Humke and Mr. Bache will form the Conference Committee to meet with the Senate on S.B. 230, Amendment No 479.
