The Subcommittee on Judiciary was called to order at 5:04 p.m., on Monday, May 
29, 1995, Chairman Carpenter presiding in Room 332 of the Legislative Building, 
Carson City, Nevada.  Exhibit A is the Agenda.

ASSEMBLY JOINT RESOLUTION 33 -	Proposes to amend Nevada constitution to 
place commission on judicial discipline in 
executive branch of state government.


ASSEMBLY BILL 550 -	Revises provisions governing commission on judicial 
discipline.

The subcommittee on A.J.R. 33 and A.B. 550 heard testimony and reviewed 
proposed amendments.  No minutes were required for transcription.  The original 
tape is maintained in the Research Library of the Legislative Counsel Bureau.  


Proposed Amendment for A.J.R. 33 is attached hereto as (Exhibit B).  Another 
amendment is attached hereto as (Exhibit C).  A memorandum from the Legislative 
Counsel Bureau from Allison Combs is attached hereto as (Exhibit D).
