	ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON ELECTIONS AND PROCEDURES

The Committee on Elections and Procedures met in the Assembly Chambers behind 
the bar on Thursday, April 27, 1995, at 11:16 a.m., for the purpose of considering 
the introduction of the following bill draft request.  A quorum was present.

BDR R-1836 -	Congratulates Dr. Charles Elachi for being selected as recipient 
of Nevada Medal given by Desert Research Institute and 
sponsored by Nevada Bell.

ASSEMBLYMAN DAVID HUMKE MOVED FOR COMMITTEE 
INTRODUCTION OF BDR R-1836.

ASSEMBLYMAN JACK CLOSE SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED.

BDR R-1836 became A.C.R. 26.  Chairman Giunchigliani, declaring this legislation 
to be an emergency measure, requested a suspension of rules so a vote could be 
taken immediately and the A.C.R. sent to the Senate.

ASSEMBLY CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 26 -	Congratulating Dr. Charles Elachi 
for being selected as the 
recipient of the Nevada Medal 
given by the Desert Research 
Institute and sponsored by 
Nevada Bell.

ASSEMBLYMAN JACK CLOSE MOVED TO ADOPT A.C.R. 26.

ASSEMBLYWOMAN JOAN LAMBERT SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED.
