Roy Neighbors Ms. Jeannine Stroth A work session was opened. Chairman Harrington called for approval of minutes of the Education Committee through the end of the 68th session. ASSEMBLYMAN BENNETT MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE EDUCATION THROUGH THE END OF THE 68TH SESSION. ASSEMBLYMAN MANENDO SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Chairman Harrington called for a vote on Senate Bill 88. SENATE BILL 88 - Requires school districts to establish programs providing bilingual education. ASSEMBLYMAN BATTEN MOVED DO PASS ON S.B. 88. ASSEMBLYMAN CHOWNING SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
