MINUTES OF THE
	ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION

	Sixty-eighth Session
	June 1, 1995


The Committee on Education was called to order behind the bar in the Assembly 
Chambers of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada at 11:02 a.m., on 
Thursday, June 1, 1995, Chairman Wendell P. Williams presiding.

The entire Committee was present.  Chairman Williams called for a motion for a 
 committee request for a bill draft request to be referred to Ways and Means.  The 
bill draft request  deals with the desire of retired teachers to have the same medical 
insurance subsidy as other state employees.

ASSEMBLYMAN MARK MANENDO MOVED FOR COMMITTEE
REQUEST FOR A BILL DRAFT REQUEST AS SPECIFIED ABOVE.

ASSEMBLYMAN VONNE CHOWNING SECONDED THE MOTION.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
