All present except Senators Amodei, Neal, Schneider, Shaffer and Wiener, who were excused.

Prayer by Senator Washington.

Dear Lord, we thank You for being here today. All of the words of wisdom have already been said and expounded upon and have gone around this mulberry bush 100 times. It looks like we are going around it one more time. So, when we finish, could You please just cut it down.

Amen.

Pledge of allegiance to the Flag.

Senator Raggio moved that further reading of the Journal be dispensed with, and the President and Secretary be authorized to make the necessary corrections and additions.

Motion carried.

Senator Raggio moved that the Senate adjourn until Monday, July 21, 2003 at 12 m.

Motion carried.
