    Our Father in heaven, as we come before You at the beginning of this legislative day, we do so with gratitude in our hearts. We welcome the opportunity that we have to participate in this system of government. We ask You to bless us with Thy Spirit, today, so that we can work together to try to achieve a compromise, that we can have a renewed sense of our responsibility and our obligation to the people of the State of Nevada. We are thankful for all that Thou has blessed us with. We say these things in Thy Son’s Name, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

    Pledge of allegiance to the Flag.

    Senator Raggio moved that further reading of the Journal be dispensed with, and the President and Secretary be authorized to make the necessary corrections and additions.
