    Today, we come to You again in this quiet moment. We ask for a special blessing on the members of this Chamber. They have been chosen by the people to speak for the people. Many have turned to be critics and do not understand the many issues involved in making the decisions that are best for this State. Give the Senators clear minds and Your wisdom to do that which is right for all the people.

Amen.

    Pledge of allegiance to the Flag.

    Senator Raggio moved that further reading of the Journal be dispensed with, and the President and Secretary be authorized to make the necessary corrections and additions.

    Motion carried.

    Senator Raggio moved that the Senate recess until 4 p.m.

    Motion carried.
