Let us pray. Dear Lord, we come before You today with open hearts. We ask that You fill them with Your strength, Your guidance and wisdom for each individual. We ask, too, for understanding amongst ourselves.

Assemblyman Oceguera moved that further reading of the Journal be dispensed with, and the Speaker and Chief Clerk be authorized to make the necessary corrections and additions.
Motion carried.

Assemblywoman Buckley moved that Senate Bill No. 6 be taken from the Chief Clerk's desk and placed on the General File.

Nays—Andonov, Angle, Beers, Brown, Carpenter, Christensen, Goicoechea, Grady, Gustavson, Hettrick, Knecht, Mabey, Marvel, Sherer, Weber—15.
Senate Bill No. 6 having failed to receive a two-thirds majority, Mr. Speaker declared it lost.

Assemblywoman Buckley moved that the vote whereby Senate Bill No. 6 was lost be rescinded.
Motion carried.
Assemblywoman Buckley moved that Senate Bill No. 6 be taken from the General File and placed on the Chief Clerk’s desk.

GUESTS EXTENDED PRIVILEGE OF ASSEMBLY FLOOR
On request of Assemblyman Collins, the privilege of the floor of the Assembly Chamber for this day was extended to Ashlynd Baker.
Assemblywoman Buckley moved that the Assembly adjourn until Sunday, June 29, 2003 at 11 a.m.
