NEVADA LEGISLATURE

Nineteenth Special Session, 2003

ASSEMBLY DAILY JOURNAL

THE FOURTH DAY

Carson City (Friday), June 6, 2003

Assembly called to order at 12:22 p.m.

    Mr. Speaker presiding.

    Roll called.

All present except Assemblyman Arberry, who was excused.

Prayer by the Chaplain, Terry Sullivan.

Let us pray. Well, Lord, I guess in all Your wisdom and foresight You planned this special session so that the original freshmen legislators would have two sessions under their belt and therefore be far more experienced than a freshman legislator normally would be, to deal with these difficult problems facing us. We thank You for that foresight. Now, Lord, we pray that the knowledge, wisdom, and experience You have bestowed upon this entire body will bring us to the very best decision that can be made. If it is Your wish that we finish our work here today, we again pray for Your blessing and a safe journey home.

Amen.

Pledge of allegiance to the Flag.

Assemblyman Oceguera moved that further reading of the Journal be dispensed with, and the Speaker and Chief Clerk be authorized to make the necessary corrections and additions.

    Motion carried.
