Coordinated a charity golf tournament, which raised $100,000 for the Nevada Cancer Institute; working on air quality problems in Clark County, 1997-present; coordinated the Helping Hands Project at the Culinary Union to assist 16,000 workers who were laid off immediately after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack.
