The Legislative Commission's Committee to Study the Governance and Oversight of the System of K-12 Public Education is composed of three members of the Senate and three members of the Assembly. Based upon the findings of the interim study, the Committee shall recommend actions necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the statewide system to ensure the steady progression of Nevada's public schools and the achievement of Nevada's pupils. The Legislative Commission shall submit a report of the results of the study and any recommendations for legislation to the 76th Session of the Nevada Legislature.
