2001 FISCAL REPORT
Prepared by the Fiscal Analysis Division
Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau
The 2001 Fiscal Report is based on budgetary and taxation recommendations contained in the Governor’s Executive Budget submitted to the Legislature in January 2001. The Governor’s recommendations will be considered by the Legislature during the 2001 Legislative Session for the 2001-2003 biennium budget period covering fiscal years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003.
The report contains information on the state’s General Fund revenues, which depicts the present and projected condition of the General Fund, Governor’s recommended capital and park improvement projects, special and one-shot appropriations, supplemental appropriations, and budgetary summaries of state agencies by various governmental functions.
This report contains general information, including highlights of the various governmental functions. Emphasis is placed on changes and expansion of existing programs and recommended new programs. Therefore, this report should be used in conjunction with the Governor’s Executive Budget for the 2001-2003 biennium, where more complete information is provided.
